SURVS Survey

SURVS can start you off with a free account and surveys are quite easy to set up by following the instructions.
The widget on the previous page creates a survey form inserted in the page content. This widget opens the survey in a modal window when a link tab is clicked.
The survey is set up on the SURVS site and then inserted in the EverWeb page via the widget by pasting in the SURVS URL.

Survey Setup

Sign in to the account and set up a New Survey. When it's done, check out the steps below to ease the way to customising the survey and getting the ID required for entering into the widget settings …

  • Click the tab next to "Theme:"
  • Select Custom and then Edit Theme from the drop down
  • Click the Edit Theme tab below to see a screenshot of the drop down
  • Click the Customise button bellow to see a screenshot of the controls
  • Set the Content and Background colors
  • Set the width to 600px
  • Set the Headings and Body font color, size and font family
  • Uncheck the boxes next to Shadow and Rounded Corners
  • Uncheck Bold Question Title if required
  • Click the Save & Finish tab
  • Back on the Edit Survey page, click on Distribute
  • Go to the HTML section and click the underlined blue link HTML
  • Look in the Javascript code box for …

  • Copy the ID marked in red and save it somewhere to paste into the widget settings
