2 Responsive Images

The widget inserts two responsive images side by side when viewed on computers and tablets. On mobile phones the right image slides below the left to become full width.
Captions
The images have an overlay caption which can be displayed on page load or on hover when viewed on computers and on page load when viewed on tablets and phones.
The captions can be styled with a web safe font or a non web safe or Google hosted font with a web safe fallback. The font size, color and background color and its opacity can be adjusted.
Links
Creating an image as a hyperlink is not the best option for pages that will be viewed on touch devices like the iPad and iPhone. The visitor has no clue that the link exists since they don't see the pointer on hover.
The icon style link is a better option. This one is created using CSS so there is no extra PNG to download. It can be configured as an internal or external link and can open a new window if required.
The link is the minimum size for a touch hyperlink. Its color and background color and opacity can be adjusted.
