Vimeo & YouTube

Responsive Vimeo

The video is made responsive by entering the file width and height, setting the maximum width and entering the video ID. The code takes care of the rest.
There are options for autoplay and loop but these should not be used for responsive web pages which will be viewed on mobile phones.
There's an "Auto Pause" control which should be used if more than one Vimeo video is inserted on the page so that one stops when the next is played.
There are controls for showing the portrait, badge, byline and title if these have been added to the source video.
Although there is an option for a fullscreen control, it should only be used if the video quality is good enough.
The heading and this text are optional but they should be used to insert the video title and a description of the video's content using keywords for the search engines.
The widget can have a border and/or a box shadow added. When a shadow is used, the video width is reduced slightly so that it will show on mobile devices. The vertical spacing control should be set to at least the same value as the shadow radius.
