These widgets create fully responsive slideshows and image galleries and can be combined with any of the other widgets in the Responsive section of this site.
NOTE: These widgets require EverWeb V2.8 and above. They should be organised in a folder separate from those used to create fixed width pages.

Using Responsive Widgets

Creating responsive designs is quite different from fixed width using drag and drop. Please take the time to read the instructions and learn how to create a responsive template page and how to use the widgets.
Make sure the iOS Simulator is available for testing responsive designs in the various devices before publish the site.

Basic Slider - Swipe On Mobile

The slideshow is navigated using directional arrows when viewed on computers and is swiped on touch devices. There are options for styled captions below the images and the images can be configured as hyperlinks if required.
The images are lazy loading which is an essential feature for a slideshow which will be viewed on mobile devices. There is an autoplay option for use if the slider is not going to be viewed on mobile devices.

Animated Slideshow

This responsive slideshow has lazy loading images, manual navigation using arrows and swipe on touch devices. There are options for captions and CTA style links. These are centered horizontally and vertically over the image.
The captions and links can animate in from different directions on a per slide basis. The animation time and delay are set globally.

Lazy Load Slider

This lazy loading slider has options for bottom centered captions and the images can be configured to be internal or external links.
This slider has an extra function to allow autoplay if it really must be used. By checking a box, the autoplay function can be restricted to autoplay the slides once and then stop.

Random Size Image Slider

Although all slideshow images, in general, should be cropped to the same aspect ratio, there are times when this is not practical. This slider has a stage which can have its aspect ratio changed to suit the image orientation and view options. The view options are contain which is the default, cover which increases each image in size to fill the stage and scale down to fit an image which is too large.

Viewport Height Slider

A viewport height item fills the browser or device window no matter what size it is. This full width, responsive slider has a height of 100vh. It is lazy loading and has a horizontally and vertically centered overlay with options for a heading, text and a CTA style link.
There is an optional scroll down icon which will scroll to the next item when clicked or tapped.

Photo Album

An album is a very useful way to display a number of images without taking up too much space. The widget displays a thumbnail image with a caption and link icon with a heading and wrapped text.
Clicking or tapping the thumbnail image opens a lightbox which can display a single image or a slideshow with image captions.

Caption Gallery

The widget creates a responsive thumbnail grid with captions below which can extend to two or more lines. Clicking any thumbnail opens the lightbox slideshow. The spacing between the grid items is adjustable and the number of items per row set for each device type.
The slideshow has image captions and can be swiped on touch devices.

Pro Gallery

This thumbnail grid has overlay captions which can be displayed on hover on computers and on page load when viewed on touch devices. The grid item spacing can be adjusted.
The lightbox slideshow has options for captions and has a large choice of transition types. There are optional controls for fullscreen, zoom, slide counter, magnify, play/pause and image download.

Random Gallery

The gallery creates a justified grid from a bunch of images with different sizes and aspect ratios. There are controls for adjusting the row height and image spacing. The captions can be display on hover on computers and on page load on mobile devices.
The lightbox slider has large image captions and adjustable width and height ratios.

Photographer's Auto Gallery

A full width, responsive image grid which opens a lightbox slideshow. The thumbnails are auto generated from the full size images and the grid is justified.
The gallery was created for photographers who need to publish a page with up to 500 images for clients to view and choose.
