Versa Dual Function Slider

The Versa slider can be set up as either a responsive slider or as a hero slider with responsive width and fixed height. The example on this page is responsive with a maximum width setting of 1200px.
Images
The slideshow can have up to 48 images. These should be cropped to the same size and aspect ratio and have a width of no more than the maximum width setting.
The images have alt text and an optional overlay caption. Both of these should be inserted using keywords to describe the image for both the search engines and the website visitors.
The images can be set up as hyperlinks. These can open an internal or external page and in a new window if required.
Slideshow Options
The fullscreen function is optional and can be added by checking a box. Autoplay can be used if really necessary and there are controls for setting the slide time in milliseconds and for adding the pause on hover function.
The slideshow is navigated using directional arrows and can be swiped on touch devices like the iPad nad iPhone.
Captions
The captions can use a web safe font or a non web safe or Google hosted font with a web safe fallback. There are controls for font size, color, background color and its opacity and for aligning the caption left, center or right.
Container
The slideshow container has controls for adding a border and for vertical spacing in relation to the items above and below it.
The function can be switch from a responsive slider to a full width, fixed height hero style slider by checking a box and setting the height on computers and tablets and another for mobile phones.
