Accordion Widgets

Aaccordion panels can be used as space savers for diplaying extra content or for creating a one page website. They are particularly useful for creating sites for high street retail and service businesses which will mainly be used on mobile devices and for CV, resume and porfolio applications.

Header

The header is full width, responsive and has a centered h1 heading for the website name, a logo and a phone number/phone button.
There are controls for adjusting the size and position of the logo image and the phone number switches to a phone button when the page is viewed on mobile phones.

Content Panel

The panel widget has options for an image with alt text, a heading, text and a CTA style link. The image has a percentage width and can either be centered or floated left to allow the text to wrap around it. It will become full width when viewed on mobile phones.
The link can be configured to open internal or external pages and in a new window if required.

Banner

The banner image is full width fixed height and has a control for setting a different height on mobile phones.
The overlay has controls for background color and opacity and has options for a heading and text.
The overlay, heading and text can animate in and each has a control for setting the animation time and delay if required.

Image Grid

The grid can have up to 48 images. The number of images per row can be adjusted for each device type - computer, tablet and phone and the grid items can be spaced out horizontally and vertically if required. Captions are turned on globally and overlay the bottom of the image with a background which can be adjusted for color and opacity.
Captions be set to display on page load or on hover on computers and on page load on touch devices.

Slideshow

The slideshow is navigated by directional arrows when viewed on computers and by swiping on tablets in portrait mode and mobile phones.
The arrows can be shown only on hover if required and the transition can be either slide or fade.
There are centered captions and the images can be configured as hyperlinks if required.

MP4 Video

The player uses Video JS for a uniform appearance in all browsers. The player displays a poster image on page load and the video file is prevented from downloading until the play button is clicked or tapped
The content heading is used for the video title and the text used for describing the video content for the visitors and search engines.

List

The list panel content area has options for a heading, a text block, a list, another text block and a CTA style link.
The list is created using the EverWeb widget API Assets List and can contain up to 99 list items.
There is a choice of eight list style types list.
The list item inset, position and vertical spacing can be adjusted

Price List

The list has a column for a description and one for price. The item ID column to the left is optional. When this is not present, the item names move to the left. The list is created using the EverWeb Widget API so it can accommodate a large number of items.
The list items can be zebra striped for clarity if required.

Location

The location panel has a map, centered address field and a text block with heading.
The static map is downloaded from Google. A static map is more useful than an interactive one for pages that will be displayed on smart phones.
There are options for a coloured marker and a link to an interactive version on Google maps.

Footer

The footer panel has three info panels which sit side by side and switch to being vertically aligned on phones.
The left panel has a phone icon for mobile phone users, phone number and other info. The center panel has an "Email Me" icon and the right panel has a marker icon and fields for the street address and other info. There are options for a heading and a © notice.

Contact

The contact form and the contact info panel sit side by side when viewed on wide screens. On narrower devices, they sit one above the other.
The form can be situated left or right and has options for a fieldset and legend and fields for name. email, optional phone and an adjustable height text field.

Footer Bar

The footer bar can be set to full width or have the same maximum width as the content panels. It has options for an "Email Me" link, centered text for copyright info and a phone number.
The phone number switches to a "Call Me" tab with a phone icon when viewed on mobile phones and the copyright year can be auto updated.

YouTube Video

The widget inserts a YouTube video simply by inserting the video ID number. The player is set up to play videos with the standard aspect ratio of 16:9. If a different aspect ratio is required, insert the width and height of the video in the boxes provided, Use the optional heading for the video title and the text for describing the video content with keywords for the search engines.
