Dropboxes are a really convemient way for reducing on load content. The ThemeKit Caddy dropbox widgets a full width action bar with an animated open/close icon.
Any widget can have its content visible on page load if required. In this case there is a checkbox to remove the animated icon.
Like any media files that ar not in vieew on page load the dropbox images and videos are lazy loade by default.
A slider for a responsive website must insert the images in two or three sizes. A lazy loading option should be available if the item is not in view on page load.
The slideshow inserts the images in three sizes. The slides have a caption and can be configured as links globally switchable between internal and external.
When images are configured as links the icon appears at the top right.
The tabs are together at the bottom right for the convenience of computer and large tablet users.
On tablets in portrait mode they switch to being vertically center left and right. They can be hidden on mobile phones.
Note that the images probably won't show when viewed on the EverWeb design canvas.
Hosted video like YouTube is not the best way to display video on a website. If the MP4 video file is not available the video on YouTube can be downloaded as an MP4.
If YouTube must be used it should be lazy loaded offscreen.
Only the video ID is inserted in the box provided - not the YouTube URL.
If the video is anything other than the standard 16:9 aspect ratio enter the video file's width and height in the controls provided.
