Category Gallery

The ThemeKit Gallery Category widget is a custom design created for maximum efficiency and minimal script to perform well on mobile devices. It has a tab bar and an auto image grid with thumbnail images.
Each image in the grid is given a category name and the categories - and the number of items in each one - appear in the tab bar.
Tab Bar
The tabs have controls for font size, color, background, active background, border radius and spacing.
The tab min width can be adjusted to suit the amount of text.

Grid

The grid creates equal size items from thumbnails with different aspect ratios. This is achieved by using an auto grid with controls for entering the column max width and the row max height.
The grid items have controls for border width, color and radius and fthe grid has a spacing control.
NOTE: that the widget creates one lightbox slideshow - not one for each category.
