The thumbnails were created by cropping out a 400px square from the full size images.

Hover Animation

Scale

Setting the scale to a value above 1.0 will cause the thumbnails to scale on hover.
The lightbox icons can also be displayed on hover

Clicking a thumbnail - which can have an optional icon - opens the lightbox slider.
The slide show images are responsive up to the width of the image file.
