The list of tracks is an ordered list. Each list item has a track item field which also selects play. The active track title has a background color and a different font color from the rest.

The player is full width responsive with a maximum width setting so that its width can be reduced when playing short tracks.

The playlist has a height setting. When the number of items overflows this, the contents scroll while the header and footer are sticky so that they are always in view..

The optional footer is for the copyright notice. It inherits the header font color and background color and has its own control for font size.
The auto date option adds the copyright year and automatically updates it.

Podcast Playlist Player

The playlist can have up to 100 items. The page download time will not be effected by a large number of audio files since they are prevented from downloading until the visitor plays one.
The playlist is a very compact way of displaying a podcast - or any audio files for that matter. Once it is full, it can easily be archived.
Audio Files
If the playlist is being used for speech rather than music and the episode are longer than a few minutes, make sure the audio has been recorded at a low sampling rate since download speed is more important than audio quality.
Download Link
A podcast episode that is longer than a few minutes should have a download link so that subscribers can listen at their leisure. The download link can reference a zip file in the EverWeb Assets list or in an external folder.
If the podcast is published to a server other than the EverWeb one, all the zip files can be uploaded to a folder(s) on the server and referenced using relative file paths.
