Snap Swiper

The Snap Slider is a touch slider with native touch/swipe behavior and great performance. It uses pure Javascript with no to imitate snap scrolling so can bring modern image display techniques to old browsers.
Swipe navigation will be obvious to mobile device users who make up 2/3 of a sites visitors. Computer users only need to hold down the mouse and flick left or right.
Using some Javascript allows continuous loop snap scrolling and also makes it easy to switch the slider from displaying a single image to a carousel which displays three images on wider screens two on tablet and one on phones.
The images can be spaced out if required the optional captions can be inserted at the top or bottom and aligned left, center or right.
The icon links are optional and can be displayed on hover when viewed on computers.

G-Box Media Lightbox

The widget forms a responsive grid of thumbnail images with captions that launch a media file on click or tap. The media files can be a mixture of Images, self hostedMP4, video, Vimeo & YouTube hosted video.
Description
The lightbox items have the option for a title and text description of the media content so that the search engines can index it and the visitors will know what they are looking at.
Grid
The grid is centered with a maximum width setting and the number of images per row can be set for each device type. There are controls for adjusting the grid gap, the padding and the background color and its opacity.
Thumbnail Images
Thes should be cropped to a reasonable size and to the same aspect ratio before importing into EverWeb. The thumbnails in the demo are 400 x 400px.
Lightbox Images
These images should be reduced to a maximum of about 1200px wide before importing into EverWeb and square or portrait image to about 800px in height. Any bigger than this just serves to impede the page download time and loading efficiency and use up mobile device users data limits uneccessarily.
