A landing page needs to grab the visitor's attention and quickly show them what subjects the blog or podcast covers. This headliner is designed to be placed before the contents list and show the latest post along with a couple of others which will make the vistor want to read more and become a subscriber.
The grid is responsive and this can be seen by reducing the browser width if viewing this page on a desktop or laptop. The overlay has adjustable opacity and displays a heading, description and "Read More" link. The overlay can appear at page load or animate in with variable animation delay and time.
If returning visitors see the same old, same old, they are not so likely to revisit. Using a feature like this allows the page to look "frequently updated" without to much effort.
Images
All three images need to have the same aspect ratio and should be cropped to the maximum size that they will appear at before importing into EverWeb. This makes for faster page download time - particularly if it is used in conjunction with a contents list which has no thumbnail images. Click the link below to see a suitable list widget.
