Fancy Quotes + Show More
The responsive grid layout allows for up to 48 items. The number of items per row can be adjusted for each device type - computer, tablet landscape, tablet portrait and mobile phone.
The grid row gap, column gap and padding are all adjustable and the grid items can have a contrasting background.
The h1 heading above the testimonials is optional.
Show More
The widget has the option to display only a few testimonials with the rest being available via a "ShowMore" function. This is turned on using a checkbox control and has options for the number of items to display on page load and on demand when the button is clicked or tapped.
A different number of items can be set for mobile phone users.
The "ShowMore" button inherits the text font family and has options for font size, color, hover color, background color and border radius.
The button appears automatically when the show more function is selected and will disappear when the last items in the grid have been selected.
Quotes
The quote section use the HTML5 <blockquote> tag. This tag specifies a section that is quoted from another source.
The optional fancy quotes are created as pseudo elements so that they can be turned on/off easily. The default font is a Google hosted one - Coutard - but this can be changed to any other web safe or Google hosted font.
They have options for font size and color and for adjusting their position relative to the top and their horizontal spacing from the text.
Signature
The default font is a Google hosted font - Quigley. This can also be changed to any other web safe or Google hosted font. The font size and color are adjustable as is the font weight and style. The alignment of the signature can be left, center or right and its vertical position can be adjusted using the line hieght control.
Container
As with most of the responsive grid layout widgets, the testimonial grid is centered within a wrapper with a maximum width setting.
The wrapper itself can be given a solid or transparent color depending on whether it is being used as a scroll over item - or not.
The container has a control for adjusting its spacing in relation to the items above and below it.
