MP4 - Vimeo - YouTube Player

The Afterglow player provides EverWeb users with a feature that hasn't been available up until now - the ability to mix self hosted MP4 video, Vimeo and YouTube on one page with an auto pause function where the playing video pauses when another is selected.
The basic EverWeb Video Afterglow widget is a catch all which can play all three types.

HD MP4 Video Player

The EverWeb Video Afterglow HD widget allows the visitor the option to view an HD version of the video, This is an essential feature if there is a fullscreen option and the video is being played on a computer.
The video displays a poster image on page load and the video is prevented from downloading until it is actually played.

Vimeo & YouTube Video Lightbox

These lightbox widgets are ideal for displaying several videos of the same or different types on a page without compromising page download time.
This version of the widget launches a Vimeo or YouTube video in a lightbox when the play button at the center of the thumbnail image is clicked or tapped.

MP4 Video Lightbox

This version of the lightbox widget has the same functions as the one for Video/YouTube. The thumbnail image with the play button can be placed to the left or right of the text block with the title and description.
The size of the lightbox video can be contained or made to fill the screen width and there is a control to close the lightbox when the video has ended.

Video Mix Gallery

This thumbnail image gallery is the first of its type to allow EverWeb users to have a mixture if Image, MP4 Video, Vimeo and YouTube in a lightbox slider.
All the video types use the same control bar for a better user experience and the lightbox has an option to add a title/caption and a description of the media content for the search engines and the visitor.

Professional Video Player

This video player will play either an MP4 video or a Vimeo or YouTube video. It allows all three types to be displayed uniformly in all browsers and devices and is a better option for displaying website video in a professional manner.
The controls are the large play button, the play button, progress bar, current time, mute button, volume control, settings button and the fullscreen button.

Professional MP4 Player

A professional quality responsive video player needs to be able to supply the video file at different sizes for the various devices. This one allows up to four files selected via the settings button in control panel.
There is an optional title and text field for entering a description for the search engines and a link which can be used to download the video if required.

Professional Vimeo Player

This player allows Vimeo video to be displayed with a custom control bar which matches the MP4 player and the YouTube player. This means that website video in any format can be displayed in a uniform way in all browsers and on all device types.
It also adds functions not normally available with Vimeo such as initial volume.

Professional YouTube Player

This player allows YouTube video to be displayed with a custom control bar which matches the MP4 player and the Vimeo player. This means that website video in any format can be displayed in a uniform way in all browsers and on all device types.
It also adds functions not normally available with YouTube such as initial volume.

Fullscreen Video

The MP4 video is inserted to fill the browser or device window rather than in the background which is much more efficient and gives better quality.
There is an optional overlay heading and a play button for manual play. The options are manual play with poster image on page load, autoplay, loop, plays inline and muted.

Vimeo & YouTube Gallery

The responsive thumbnail grid can have up to 24 items. Each one opens a Vimeo or YouTube video in a lightbox window.
The images have an overlay with the video title, brief description and an optional separator line. The overlay can show on hover if required.

Vimeo & YouTube Slider

A responsive slideshow with captions and styling options and a centered video play button. The slideshow can have up to 48 images.
The play button launches Vimeo and/or YouTube videos in a lightbox window on click or tap.
The slideshow images are lazy loading and can be swiped on touch devices.

MP4 Video Gallery

The responsive thumbnail grid can have up to 12 items. Each one opens an MP4 video in a lightbox window. The grid images have captions and a centered play button. The captions and/or the play buttons can be displayed on hover when viewed on computers if required. The video player is set up to play 16:9 aspect ratio video files.

MP4 Vimeo & YouTube Slider

A slideshow with thumbnail image carousel and poster images which will play a mix of MP4 video via HTML5, Video and YouTube.
Note that this slider required a little extra work creating the correct size of thumbnail and poster images and needs to be published to a sever to function properly.
