Splash
A splash page is good for getting a message across before vistors enter the website but is really bad for SEP (search engine optimisation).
The ThemeKit Splash widget overcomes the problem by creating an on load overlay with the splash items so the search engines index the splash info and the page content beneath it.
Click Curtain
The click to open/close curtain uses pure CSS to create the animation which nmakes it ideal for responsive pages.
The background image seen when the "curtains" open is inserted in two sizes with the smaller being displayed on mobile devices.
Meter Bar
The ThemeKit Meter Bar widget is used to draw attention to itself or the item belowor encourage vistors to follow the link if that option has been selected.
The animated VU meter can be set to cycle through 1 to 10 itertions or be set to infinite to be really annoying.
Scale Down
The scale down animated images with text block make a refreshing change to the done-to-death animations and add a unique touch to a web page layout.
Each item has the option to add a border for better definition and/or a bottom box shadow to "lift" it off the page.
The scale up on page load can be adjusted from 1 to 1.99. The scale animation and the caption animation each have their own controls for time and delay.
As can be seen from the demos the caption can run to two or more lines.
