Background Video

A video in any form can have a negative effect on a page's download performance. This is especially true for a video in the background.
Rather than stretch the video to fill the browser background it is fixed in position and set to fill the width and height of the viewport.
Inserting the video in this way improves the quality and allows smaller video files to be used.

The widget improves the performance on mobile devices by inserting a second video file about half the size of the HD file.
The video can be set to loop if required.
