When the dropbox is opened the video stage shows a poster image, the video is prevented from downloading and is lazy loaded when the visitor decides to play it. The video will pause when the dropbox is closed.
Video File
The MP4 video file is inserted in two sizes for computer and smaller mobile devices.
The full width action tab has a title and an animated icon. The title can be aligned left or center and moves left on phones in portrait mode.
Icon
The icon has controls for the icon/border color and for the background color.
The container has options for a border with controls for width, color and radius.
The bottom border can be removed and a bottom box shadow inserted.
The dropbox text area has fields for the video title and a text description with keywords. Spans can be inserted and styled for font size and color.
The optional link can open internal or external pages.
Hosted Video like Vimeo and YouTube is inserted in an iFrame. If the video file's aspect ratio is anything other then 16:9 the video width and height can be entered into the fields provided in the widget settings.
Note that Vimeo video when lazy load may not render when viewed on the EverWeb design canvas.
For the best search engine indexing website video should always be inserted in a container that has options to add the video title and a description with relevant keywordds for the search engines.
